Richmond Zine Fest is an annual independent publication festival where artists and writers gather to sell and/trade zines. This free event for all ages also prioritizes the voices and presence of zine makers who are black, POC, LGBTQ, and/or have disabilities. Richmond Zine Fest has been going strong since 2007.
This year’s t-shirt design is by Shannon Spence, a cartoonist based out of NYC. Shannon’s first zine fest ever was Richmond Zine Fest in 2019, and RZF organizers have been excited to see her continue to blossom as an artist.
