ARTIST RESIDENCY AT STUDIO TWO THREE

As artists, we know that providing access to the arts must extend beyond studio space & tools; therefore, our residency programs provide 24/7 studio access, free access to all of S23’s workshops & classes, 1-to-1 mentorship from a studio artist (including training for screen printing, risograph printing, letterpress, etching & relief printing), and housing during the residency period.

Our Artist Residency opportunities range from 3 day intensives to 2 week stays. We welcome established as well as emerging and experimental artists, who are looking to explore new mediums. Residency applications will be rated based upon artistic quality and fit for Studio Two Three’s offerings & equipment. Preference is given to artists facing challenging or constraining financial circumstances.

Accepted artist residents are expected to:

  • Work in a self-guided manner when in the studio

  • Consent to Studio Two Three sharing quotes, video and images of their work in program materials

  • Provide ongoing feedback on how we can improve the residency program

  • Sign an Artist Member License Agreement outlining rules and expectations of studio

  • Contribute a print to Studio Two Three for our print archive and/or fundraising purposes

Please Note: All of our residencies are fully booked through summer 2026.
