Curious about screen printing? This is the intro class for you! You'll learn how to make stencils, how to coat and expose a screen, review types of images appropriate for screen printing, learn about proper setup, and clean up and start printing one to two color images on paper. Come empty handed - everything provided! No preparation needed! We’ll create improvised designs together in class! (Note: This is not a T-shirt Printing Class.)
Stephanie Albert is an artist and printmaker holding a BFA in Fashion Design and minor in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University. Stephanie specializes in screen printing and owns a small business, Marigold Paper, where she creates stationery and other printed goods. A lover of bright colors, good puns and nature, she incorporates these elements in her designs. When not creating, she enjoys traveling, gardening and spending time outdoors.
