You'll learn how to make stencils, how to coat and expose a screen, review types of images appropriate for screen printing, learn about proper setup, and clean up and start printing one to two color images on paper. Come empty handed - everything provided! No preparation needed! We’ll create improvised designs together in class! (Note: This is not a T-shirt Printing Class)
Hello, I'm Maggie Yokley and I've been a Richmond based artist since 2012. When I found out about Studio 23, I really hit it big, and became an intern and eventual member around 2015. Now, I'm a basic screenprinting instructor with Studio 23 having the best time ever teaching my community members how to print. I enjoy watching cult classics on VHS and reruns of the Simpsons and petting my cat. I can only draw one thing and that is Bart Simpson. I also love Riso printing, and making zines about movies and my cat. Thank you for being my friend!
