Make anything into a letterpress plate!Photos! Illustrations! Text! Prepare nothing. Together - as a class - we’ll create files with both text and imagery, print inverted transparencies, make plates, and print a small edition! For members, this class doubles as an orientation that allows you to use the polymer plate maker independently. Our antique type and image collection is awesome, but very finite! With polymer plates - it becomes infinite!
Zach Montgomery is a designer and student based in Richmond. His practice is centered in traditional printing mediums and editorial design, exploring ways to exploit and experiment with standardized, mundane systems of design. He loves sharing his passion for experimentation and knowledge of design with others.
