Weds. 7/15 5:30-8:30PM
Instructor: Vedika Krishna
Come sit, open your hands, and enter the pattern. No prior knowledge or steady hand required. We’ll begin with the story of henna, where it comes from and how it has moved across hands and time. You’ll learn a few simple ways to guide the line and execute simple repeatable symbols, then be set loose to wander, repeat, and discover what wants to form. There will be time to ask questions, share small revelations, do a design of your very own on your hand and gently compare notes. You’ll leave with a brand new henna stained hand and carrying your own cone of henna, made for you to take home and continue the pattern so you can begin again, and again, and once more.
