ARTIST RESIDENCY AT STUDIO TWO THREE

As artists, we know that providing access to the arts must extend beyond studio space & tools, therefore our residency programs accommodate 24/7 studio access, training for screen printing, letterpress and graphic arts (including the specialized knowledge to operate various printing machines and tools), 1-to-1 artist mentorship, access to healthcare enrollment & free educational workshops on business and artistic technique.

Our residency program supports the skilled training of printmakers while providing holistic wraparound services that take into consideration the whole-person needs of our resident artists, including child care stipends, transportation stipends, access to healthcare enrollment clinics and free workshops on the business of art & printmaking production.

Residency applications will be rated based upon artistic quality and fit for Studio Two Three’s offerings & equipment. Preference will be given to artists facing challenging or constraining financial circumstances. Accepted artist residents are expected to:

• Work in a self-guided manner when in the studio

• Consent to Studio Two Three sharing quotes, video and images of their work for use in program materials & publicity

• Provide ongoing feedback on how we can improve the residency program

• Sign an Artist Member License Agreement outlining rules and expectations of studio 

• Contribute a print to Studio Two Three for our archive and/or fundraising purposes
